The Pelli Cohort will be focused on enhancing the sustainability and vitality of their community garden in the small Yukon community of Pelli through collaboration with Elders and Knowledge Keepers. In this project, youth will work to improve the garden, incorporating traditional knowledge and modern sustainable practices. One of the key goals is to add solar power to the garden, providing clean energy to support its growth and development. By blending ancestral wisdom with innovative solutions, the cohort aims to create a more resilient and self-sustaining garden that benefits the whole community, while fostering intergenerational learning and stewardship of the land.
