Shared Wisdom is a youth-led and youth-inspired project engaging young leaders representing the four communities of Lil’wat, Victoria, Maskwacis and Whitehorse in British Columbia, Alberta and the Yukon. VIDEA is proud to partner with 8 inspirational young men and women who envision bright futures for their communities and who are leading by example through establishing youth groups in each of their home communities.
With funding from Status of Women, Shared Wisdom aims to bring about systemic change that addresses the root causes of violence against women by working together as young Indigenous men and women, challenging assumptions about gender and development, and being positive role models for other Indigenous youth.
